Dinners are hosted seasonally to share the building and work created here.  100W invites guests to Corsicana to tour the studios, meet the residents and their work, and connect over meals prepared and served by the 100W Collective.

Featured dinners may require a ticket, and are announced on our email list in advance.  To be included on our invitational mailing list, please connect by clicking here and express your interest to dine the next time our table is set.

ARTISTS

BRENT PAFFORD: Ceramicist

ADRIENNE LICHLITER: Printmaker

LINDSEY BYRD: Chef

Southern Intentions is an art and dinning project created to draw metaphors between the acts of making and seeing art to the acts of preparing and enjoying a meal.  This collaboration is between printmaking artist Adrienne Lichliter from Texas, potter Brent Pafford from South Carolina, and chef Lindsey Byrd from Louisiana. Our intention is to bring three separate art forms together through Southern cuisine.  Guests are served a special fried chicken dinner on a set of three handmade ceramic dishes created exclusively for the evening.  Guests take home their ceramic dish set and, six weeks following the June 6 event, will expect mailed a limited edition lithographic print generated from the meal’s oily residues.  The dinner will be held at the artist residency of 100 West in the Third Floor Encampment Studio.  A show of Pafford's ceramics and Lichliter's paper works will be exhibited in the 100W Gallery.

Corsicana is located fifty minutes south of Dallas on I-45.

* Lithography is a printmaking process that takes a surface, usually stone, and conditions it to take or reject ink through exposure to grease and oils. This technique provides the printer a matrix to make an edition of printed art and has been used since the 18th century.
